The Dragon Boosters had run a very interesting race, first an Enhancer Dragon not ridden by an Enhancer joined the race, then there was a freak storm. Finally the Boosters had a vision of a strange world, accompanied by a return with a headless dragon rider. After all this they loss and to add injury to insult, they learnt the Enhancer's were growing more powerful.


Area: Dragon Fun Park


Tristan arrived with Aster and their Dragons to large park where a new ride had been built, they were going to use their free day to relax.

Ashey slowed down from the fast trot to a walk as they approached the park. It was a nice day, so it was filled with people and dragons that were there just to have a good time.

Somehow, she just didn`t feel much like celebrating. She doubted that her rider was either.

Aster looked around, her face hidden beneath the shading of her helmet. The sun was bright, the day was warm, vendors were selling some sugar-filled bright-colored snacks and everyone around her just seemed so...happy.

She shook her head slightly and turned to Tristan and Infurno.

"So, where is that great ride of yours you wanted us to see?" she asked with a slight tint of sarcasm.

"No idea!"
Tristan yelled happily.
"How about some Draconee-yum bars?"
He ran off to try go buy some.




Meanwhile in the shadows, someone stared at Aster with an intense look.

"Great..." said Aster as she watched Tristan rush to buy some candy. "Well, I bet we`ll find it. Should I get you something?" asked Aster as she jumped out of the saddle and onto the ground.

Ashey shook her head and followed her rider as she walked to the vender of draconi-ice.

Aster paused for a moment, having a rather odd feeling as if she was being watched. She looked around, but everything seemed normal. "It`s nothing," she replied to a questioning look of Ashey and kept walking.

"A draconi-ice, please, and two dragon-aids," she told the shopkeeper, giving him the right ammount of drakkals.

Tristan began munching on his candy.
"I think the ride is over there!"
Tristan grabbed Aster's hand and began dragging her to a very very long line.
"I can't wait."
Tristan began jumping up and down as he stood at the back of the line.

"Me neither," growled Aster, freeing her hand. The line was quite long, so it seemed they`ll have to spend an hour just waiting here. Without much else to do she started with her candy and drink.

Ashey stayed nearby, curious about all that was happening around her, though still keeping her guard.

"So, is it some kind of rollercoaster or something else?" she asked Tristan.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the great and wonderful Aster!"
The girl said with the condescending tone. She had blonde hair with purple streaks it and dark cold blue eyes. She was pale with a magenta racing suit and a red hairclip in her hair.

She glared at Aster with the same dislike she always had when she saw her.


Obviously Aster wouldn't even have to think, but to recognize her from the Shadows of Drakkus crew, Ami.



(Hope you don't mind, thought we might do an rp involving your past. If it bothers you we can stop.)

(I don`t mind, though Shadows of Drakkus is Ashey`s crew, which only goal was to fight Enhancers. Aster was in a crew that helped Enhancers - Dragon`s Tail. It may work if Ami was from that crew.)

Aster glared at Ami, her gaze piercing through her like a sword.

"Well, isn`t that you, Ami!" she said with the false excitment. "Get lost," she said firmly, narrowing her eyes in disgust. "I mean it."

She sighed and returned to her drink as if nothing had happened, even though something very serious did happen. Perfect, just perfect.

(I kept that in mind, but it works better if she is from Shadows of Drakkus, you'll see why in this post.)


"Oh harsh, still being the perfect warrior for the Shadows of Drakkus, I still can't believe those fools chose you to give Ra to. I was far better suited than you, I would of beat the Enhancer's by now. I see your slacking off, given all that power and not even doing anything!" She narrowed back her eyes in even more disgust.


Tristan just whistled as he could cut the tension between these two with a knife.

(Yeah, that works)

"It may be so, but Ashey chose me, not you," Aster narrowed her eyes, wishing that girl would leave her alone, and soon. "If you have a problem with that, I suggest you find something else to use your energy on. And I am not slacking off. Don`t see you doing anything useful." She finished and turned away from her, having nothing more to say.

Maybe she was a little harsh, but it could have been also because Ami had a point. There were people more suited for this job than her, an ex-dragon thief and a past ally to the Enhancers, and at times she wondered herself why.

"Since I left the Shaddows of Drakkus, I've found myself doing much more useful things. That silly group. And you aren't doing anything, the only people who do anything these days are the Enhancers and those Dragon Boosters" She said while using her hands to make inverted commas and scowling.



Tristan just looked back and forth between Aster and Ami as they argued.

Aster frowned, getting slightly annoyed by all this.

"And just what, may I ask, you`ve found yourself doing? You said, the only people who are doing anything are Enhancers and the Dragon Boosters. And since I don`t see your dragon anywhere, so I seriously doubt you are with the Dragon Boosters. Sounds to me, like you joined the wrong team," said Aster.

Ashey watched this from a distance. Ami was in the Shadows of Drakkus for a long time, and Ashey thought of her as her friend. How she stood up against her rider, how she kept mentioning the Enhancers...It wasn`t Ami she knew.

She sighed, but stood still, watching Ami with her deep-purple eyes.

"That's none of your business." She threw her head to the side in a harsh gesture.


"So...wanna come join us for the ride." Tristan asked randomly.


Ami threw Tristan a dark glare, making him crawl back.

"Well, you were the one who started getting into other people`s business," growled Aster. "Now, if you have nothing more to say, I suggest you get out of my way, and quickly," she glanced over at Ashey to see what she thought of all this.

Ashey stopped behind Ami and growled, threatening her to leave. If Ami really was with the Enhancers, she didn`t want her anywhere near them.

"Aren`t you being a little judgemental? Aster was with the Enhancers too, you know," said Ra as he monitored the scene. "Yes, but Aster didn`t betray herself and those around her, choosing what was right over what she was told to do. Ami did the complete opposite, betraying Shadows of Drakkus in a desperate time like this." explained Ashey, maintaining her stance against Ami.

Ami huffed and left in a dignified manner.
"How did they ever choose you!"
She said as she disappeared behind a bend.


"So I take it, that it wasn't just you who was applicable to get Ra in the Shadows of Drakkus."
Tristan said while rocking back and forth.

"No, I wasn`t," shook her head Aster, watching Ami walk away. "In fact, none of them trusted me at first, since I was an outsider they barely knew, while there were plenty of well-qualified riders already in the crew. But the final decision was with Ashey hereslf, and as you can see, she made her choice. With time Shadows of Drakkus came to accept that, but clearly, not all of them."

Ashey smiled and nudged Aster, throwing her a little of balance. Aster laughed and returned the gesture by petting her lightly on the nose. "And I wouldn`t have chosen anyone else," thought Ashey, wishing Aster could know that.

"Oh look, were next!"

Tristan looked as he saw the arguement with Ami had taken so long the line had already moved all the way. He smiled big as he went towards the ride.

He walked past the height limit sign with his eyes closed and hoping, even though he was obviously more than high enough.

Infurno rolled his eyes at this.


Tristan let Infurno wait with the other Dragons while he went and Ashey would attempt to go on the human ride. He looked up at the tall tracks as the little vechile came and stopped, allowing people to get on.
"Come on, lets sit near the front!"

Aster smiled, only now noticing that they were at the front of the line. She waved to Ashey who was standing near the Infurno and several dozen other dragons. Ashey gave a small roar to wish her good luck on a rather dangerous-looking ride.

"Ok, The front sounds best," said Aster, climbing into the front seat. She looked around at the track to see what awaited them. A tall hill was right in front of them, rising quite a few dracometers to the sky. She just hoped that however built this thing did a good job.

They both got in and the bars closed on them, as everyone was seated the ride slowly began clanking up to get to the top of the incline, it clanked up slowly as the riders went further from the dragons.


Inside the keeping area, Infurno sat waving his tail. He suddenly rose his head and began growling instictively.


Ami crawled through the dragon's edging past tails and paws.
"Ugh move you silly Dragon."
She finally reached up to Ashey and Infurno.
"I'll show her who truly deserves to wield the ultimate dragon.

Aster looked around, slightly nervous, since with each clank the car rose higher and higher, which meant that the drop would be that much greater. They still had some ways to go to the top, so she just sat back and watched.

Ashey turned around from the track she was watching and noticed Ami clerly heading towards them. She tilted her head to the side, surprised to see her again, wondering what she was
doing back.

"Does she really think she might persuade me to leave Aster? On her own, without even a dragon to help her?" she thought. "She really does think too much of herself," Ashey concluded, but Ra paused her.

"It may not be so simple. She knows about me. Clearly, she wouldn`t have returned if she hadn`t had some advantage."

"You`ve got a point," nodded Ashey and powered up, glowing blinding blue. She growled at Ami ina warning and released the magbeam, which scorched the ground just in front of her. Ashey narrowed her eyes and kept her charge, in case Ami decided to approach anyway.

(No we don't mind, tho at this point its a little hard while were on the rollercoasster, do you mind if I take a while to figure out a way to get you in the rp and when were at a good enough time to work you. I will include, just gotta give me a while to think of a way. Tho in the meantime, you can jump straight back into Pokemon if you wish...)


Ami jumped back.
"What are you doing you crazy dragon!"
She looked at Aster like she was insane or something.
"Now stand down, its time you come with me! Like you were suppose to..."

Ashey powered down, her curiosity taking over Ra`s warnings. Did this rider really believe she would come with her?

Ashey moved in closer to Ami and snorted, standing tall over the human. She might have not gotten the point she wasn`t wanted here.

Ashey slashed her tail to the side and roared, her roar reverberating with anger and power, much louder than any noise around her.

"Ashey?" said Aster in worry, instantly recognizing her friend`s roar, but she didn`t really have time to think about what was happening, since the car reached the top of the incline and at the same instant jerked down, fast.

"Good, you understand who is the master around here."
Ami tone returned to normal as she straighten herself and prepare to try get on Ashey.


The rollercoaster had gone off the peak and was now shooting speedily across the track as it zig zagged and loop de loop and went all over and around, to all the passenger's wails and screams.

Ashey gave her head a small shake, not really believing what was happening. She grinned a devious smile and lowered herself to the ground, so Ami could get in her saddle.

"What...are you doing?" asked Ra, greatly alarmed by this. "Relax, I have it under control. Ami wants to get on, I`ll say we'll let her," she told him and gave a curious glance to Ami.

Infurno growled at this, however he did not get involved yet.


Ami gave the red dragon a harsh look.
"Good, you know how it was always meant to be." She climbed onto the saddle and seated herself firmly as she grabbed the controls.

Ashey winked to Infurno and rose back to her full height, with Ami in the saddle.

She stood firmly as she felt Ami`s hold of controls and slowly moved her tail from side to side, generally appearing to be ready to follow whatever commands Ami would give.

Ami smiled.
"Perfect, as it was meant to be. Now lets go!"
She leaned on the controls to make Ashey go forward and out the stables.


Infurno just rolled his eyes, this was silly and a bad idea.

Ashey took first few steps without hesitation, but halted as soon as they went past the stable`s gate. She growled, refusing to go any further, and threw a daring look back at Ami, not listening to any of the commands she tried to give. With a sudden leap she jolted to the side, then another, then sprinted forward, stopping as suddenly and jumping to the right. Then, since Ami still managed to stay on, she powered up her magenergy and flung her out of the saddle, throwing her across the street.

"It was never meant to be," Ashey growled, catching her breath.

(That was a bit powerplaying controlling Ami in that way, but I'll let it slide)

Suddenly with amazing grace Ami swung on a lamp and landed gracefully on a nearby pole.
"Stupid dragon, you forgot why the Shadows of Drakkus chose me, due to my world renowned gymnastic skills." She smiled, a teency bit sinisterly.


Meanwhile Tristan and Aster were still flying along the rollercoaster as it went up and down, along the loop de loop, screaming from all the passengers.

At the temple, the priests were roaming around. Avoiding Rowg's room, assuming she was still sleeping. She had been left alone to sleep, not invited to join the outing so she could rest, due to her previous complainings of being woken by Tristan.

((I am sorry. I wasn`t exactly sure what to do otherwise, since magenergy does pretty much act against the person`s wishes, so there wasn`t much Ami could do against getting de-magged.))

Ashey narrowed her eyes at Ami`s constant insulting remarks and snorted, thinking even less of Ami than she did before. She turned away and galloped back towards the stable, without even looking back.

(I was actually referring to you saying Ami gave commands and that she was holding on when Ashey began to jolt.)


Ami took out a ribbon and swung it as it wrapped around Ashey's legs.
"Not so fast."
She gave the ribbon which was suprizing made of tough material a strong yank.

Ashey stopped, barely managing not to trip. She threw a surprised look at the ribbon then glanced back at Ami. Ashey turned to her and roared, not happy at all about how things were going.

Ami took out some metal rings and threw them at Ashey, to try trap her in them. She smiled with glee.


Infurno roared as he came charging out, he lept towards Ami.

Ashey dodged the first few rings, but others managed to reach their goal. She roared in pain and tried to get them off, having no intention of being captured once again.

Aster was actually surprised by how good this ride was, when she heard Ashey`s roar. This time she was sure it was her, and that something bad must have been happening. She all tensed up inside, eager for this ride to end so she could find out what was going on with Ashey.

Infurno snapped at Ami, but she simply did backflips along the ground to avoid him and she finished with a handstand back to her feet.


Infurno rushed to Ashey and began biting at the rings to pull them off, he growled at her implying great plan, sarcastically.


"Hey cut that out you red Dragon." She pulled out some white batons with purple stripes and threw them at great force towards him. They spun through the air as they shot towards Infurno

Ashey smiled, glad to see Infurno even though all this was majorly her fault. She kept biting and tearing at the rings. Some strange batons came flying their way, but she only backed slightly, keeping all her efforts on trying to remove the rings.

A few of them snapped open in the result, but also quite a few stayed closed. Ashey growled and intensified her efforts even further.

Infurno was bashed by the batons as he went skidding back. He moaned in pain, growling a little. Now he was mad, he was getting this high-jumping monkey!


Ami did some front flips and landed on Ami and grabbed the controls hard in another effort to gain control.
"Just give in, you know what the ultimate outcome will be anyway...."

Ashey growled and shook her head in disagreement, refusing to give up. Her roars were now full of pain, as rings were very, very uncomfortable, and it wasn`t easy to remove them.

She felt the controls and fought against them with all she had, but she knew this couldn`t keep up for long. Ami forced the controls too hard for her and she was getting more and more tired from constantly fighting the rings. One more came crushing down, broken, but there were still a large number of them left.

Infurno charged up his mag-energy and shot it at Ami while she was focused on Ashey. He picked up as she began waving her arms and legs in rage. He picked her up with a snicker.

"LET GO OF ME YOU STUPID RED DRAGON, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM. I WILL CRUSH YOU, YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU INTERFERED!!!!" She continued furiously ranting

Ashey broke another ring in two with her jaws, which left still three to go. She breathed heavily, as the harder she fought the more damage the rings inflicted.

I quess now it is safe to say, this was a bad idea, thought Ashey, tearing visouscly at the other two rings. They snapped and fell on the ground, leaving only the last one.
But, it would`t be you if you hadn`t some bad ideas once in a while, said Ra. And you have had quite a few.
And they say, you don`t have a sense of humor, grinned Ashey, finally breaking the last one.

She turned to Ami and growled, now with a very clear threat present in her growl. She charged up and gave all her attention to Ami, in case she wanted to try something else.

Ami continued to struggle, she had had enough. She managed to reach the ribbon on her side and whipped it so it wrapped around Infurno's head, she gave it a good tug to interupt his concerntration, stopping his mag-energy. She dropped to the ground and dusted herself off.


Infurno growled at her.

Ashey growled and fired her magbeam at Ami, throwing her a few steps back and slightly scorching her jacket. She reared, standing several heights taller than any human, and roared, this time a rather angry roar. She didnt like getting hurt, but she didn`t like when someone hurt her friends even more.

Ami growled back not happy at all, she got up.
"Stop being a stupid Dragon, I am met to have Ra you useless pathetic thing. No wonder your so weak!"
She swung the ribbon around and this time shot it out again tried to wrap it around Ashey like a whip.

There was pure fury in her face as it was turning red.

Ashey narrowed her eyes as she saw the infamous ribbon, and jolted to the side as if she tried to dodge it. At the last moment she bent her neck and closed her jaws on the ribbon, pulling hard on it against Ami. She growled and yanked the ribbon towards her.

She was done playing games.

Rowg had been up for a while. At the moment, she was glaring at the wall, sitting at her desk-thingy. She really wanted to tinker with some gear, but there was never any to be had, what with that new law. Oooh, how she would've loved to find the leader of DC and give him a good thrashing. Taking away her gear... the nerve! And then even having the gall to not ban silver dragons, which were freaking living gear! She curled a lip in disgust.

She'd overheard Tristan squealing earlier about the amusement park. Normally not one for the crowds and mass amounts of morons, Rowg continued to "sleep". Until she got bored. And now she was STILL bored and had a terrible itch to tinker with SOMETHING, ANYTHING! She picked up her soldering tool and looked about. There had to be SOMETHING she could mess with.

Failing to find anything interesting within the confines of her room (except her COMM device, lamp and a few odds and ends, all of which had been tinkered with to the point that nothing more could ever be done), Rowg stalked out of her room. Not particularly interested in being drafted for some insane, suicidal mission by the priests, Rowg tip toed past the doorway that led to where they usually resided. Twylyte followed, humored by her rider's paranoia and boredom.

Ami was yanked forward and fell over, she growled as he eyes rolled towards Ashey. What was with this Dragon, didn't it know its dang place.

Infurno fired a mag-beam to try and grab her, this time hopefully keep her up, however she managed to avoid it by doing a double back flip and landing on her two feet with her hands stretched out.


She pulled out a baton and flung it at Ashey, it spun through the air cutting through as the long metal stick like object with the roundish tip shot towards the blue dragon.

As Rowg was creeping past the door, her foot hit a stray bucket. Rowg ground her teeth as her stubbed toe started throbbing and cringed as the bucket reverberated through the temple. So much for stealth.

Ashey gave a low growl as she saw the baton. She took a step back, and made a fast jump to the right, attempting to dodge it.
This rider just couldn`t give up, could she?

Where is Aster? That is one long ride... thought Ashey, feeling like if Aster was here, Ami wouldn`t have lasted this long. Probably why she waited for Astyer to leave in the first place, concluded Ra. Makes sense. But how she knew Aster could stand up to her?

Ami growled, this Dragon wasn't going to come like this.
"Either you come with me....or I'll tell those Enhancers you hate so much all about you and Ra, then you will be taken by them and never see Aster again."


Infurno jumped back. That silly girl, she had no idea what she would be doing if she did that. If the Enhancers learned of Ashey's little enhancement, they'll come after her to study it and in the process they could discover the secrets of the Boosters. This could destroy the Boosters, they couldn't let her tell no matter what.....



"So who would prefer, the Enhancers or me?"

A priest appeared behind Rowg.
"Are you trying to sneak out again? Maybe you should just go out normally through the door, you can go and buy yourself something while the others are out. You should enjoy yourself in this quiet time."

Ashey narrowed her eyes and approached Ami, her eyes filled with anger, despise and fury. For once, she was completely still. The stakes now were high, and choosing one other another could have meant putting not only her life but the lives of all those involved at line.

"We can not let her do this. If we try to stop her, she would most likely have to be killed. By doing so, we would be no better than the ones we are fighting against," said Ra, as Ashey remained quiet, trying to think things through. "There is only one thing that could be done," she concluded, with pain that was evident even in her thoughts.

Ashey stopped next to Ami. She lowered her head and kept her eyes focused at one spot. An entire world seemed to have lost all sound and all movement, as her heart told her this was the battle she couldn`t win. Not being able to stand this feeling any longer, she closed her eyes and lowered herself to the ground, stating quite clearly what she had chosen.

I would prefer neither.

"Good, you know what must be done...."
She smiled at her victory and very pleased with herself.


Infurno growled furiously, he did not like this at all. He stared at Ami with great anger as he snarled, clawing his razor sharp claws in the ground. Wait maybe that was it, Infurno began growling at Ashey. She wants you alot and we can't seem to prevent her from getting you, but maybe we can stop her from WANTING you at all!


(Mari I'm not sure we will have time to do this whole thing, I do wanna maybe finish this rp soon. So maybe just some shopping for now and we will see what happens?)

Ashey shook her head only slightly in response to Infurno`s attempts to stop this. She wasn`t about to let anyone put her friends in danger, not Aster, not Tristan, not Infurno not Mari. Not Ra. If Ami escaped, no one would be safe, and she couldn`t allow that.

But at the same time, maybe there was another way out? A way she might have missed? Ashey let out a quiet growl, wondering just what Infurno had in mind. She gave a cold glare to Ami, which didn`t express even the half of how much she despised her, but remained still.

Infurno growled, we have to make it so she doesn't even want you anymore. If she doesn't want you, she won't bother to try blackmail us to the Enhancers, we need to make her not care about attaining you anymore.


Ami noticed the exchange of growling between Dragons.
"Hey you two, stop that now! Now you red, get out of here..."


Infurno let out a low angry growl.

Rowg was able to arrive at her destination with no problem, the busy marketplace was fumbling with all sorts of people buying stuff. It was hard not for any booster to be reminded of the time they were attacked here by an angry mob.

Ashey gave a rather confused look to Infurno and let out a small growl as to how they were supposed to do that. She looked over at Ami, not quite convinced that there is anything that will persuade her to stop working against them. She wasn`t even sure if Ami was fighting against Enhancers or with them, so there must have been another reason why she came here now, when Aster wasn`t around.

Maybe she had already told the Enhancers everything that she knew, and it could be their way of dealing with this information.

"It is a possibility," agreed Ra. "In fact, there is a 79% chance that Ami is with the Enhancers. It will be but a logical choice, in her case."

Ashey nodded slightly to herself and glanced at Infurno, hoping he had some kind of a plan.

Infurno growled.
She thinks your some sort of great weapon, she wouldn't want you so much if she thought you were some other dragon, especially a weak stupid one. So if your in a fight shall we say and you show just how "pathetic" you are, she would change her mind about working so hard to make you hers.


"Ok that does it! Ashey, hit with a mag-bolt to make him go away."
She crossed her arms, this roaring was annoying. It was almost like they were plotting against her.

Ashey roared threateningly at Infurno. But her roar held a message. Got it. Give it all you`ve got, and do not hold back. I can handle it.

She powered up, glowing bright blue, until she charged her energy high enough to give some real damage. She released the blast, aiming straight for Infurno. It didn`t give him much time to dodge, but otherwise Ami would have suspected she wasn`t playing along.

She reared and charged at Infurno, baring her teeth. Ra got the point and disengaged himself from all of the non-vital systems, making Ashey loose all the enhanced coordination and clear and precise sense of what was going on around her. She shook her head as all of her perceptions suddenly changed, and she could no longer quite tell where Infurno was.

Infurno being a red Dragon had his speed, so easily dodged the attack and than fired a mag-blast straight towards Ashey and than jumped for her.


"How dare you attack my Dragon, show him what Ra can do."
She did a stance as she pointed out.

Ashey narrowed her eyes, as she tried to figure out where a magblast was. Her vision was as good as that of any dragon, but with relying for so long on something much more precise made her feel almost blind. She leaped to the side trying to dodge it, but the magblast hit straight on. Ashey skid to a halt, shaking her head from pain and disorientation.

At the same time Infurno charged at her and she growled, turning to the side and brought her tail back to gain enough momentum to strike Infurno. She aimed for his legs and flung her tail forward with enough speed to bring down a dozen of dragons.

Infurno jumped over it, then used his legs to jump off of Ashey's head and land behind her biting her, although softly coz from that point it was hard to see the bite anyway.
Not the best stratergy, but it definatley looked humiliating for Ashey.


"Ugh, you silly dragon. Use Ra, beat him already. He is just an ordinary red Dragon."

Ashey growled and tackled Infurno, trying to bite him back. Slowly she was getting used to her new vision, and her strikes were getting more precise. But then, she didn`t want Ami to believe she wasn`t giving her best.

She hissed and powered up her magenergy, then released it point blank against Infurno. In another moment she used her tail again, trying to get him off balance.

Infurno was knocked back by the mag-blast and shook himself out of the daze.


"Good now were getting somewhere..."


Now was some time for some real humiliation, after Infurno wasn't an ordinary Dragon. He did have Booster skills, he charged at Ashey and when he was close enough so Ami couldn't see, after all it would be a bad idea if she knew he had powers, he used his super speed to trip Ashey making it look like the Dragon would slip due to his own clumsiness and then he spun his tail towards Ashey's face.

Ashey tripped, falling on the ground and landing hard on her back. She shook her head and noticed Infurno`s tail coming straight at her face.

Bad idea she thought, considering for a while if she should attack or not. But then, it wasn`t too hard to dodge, and Ami would have suspected something if she met it straight on.

Ashey bared her teeth and snapped at Infurno`s tail, giving it a short, but rather painful bite.

Seriously, what was he thinking? chuckled Ashey to herself, as she tried to get back on her feet.

As Ashey bit into his tail, Infurno pulled his tail back to try yank Ashey with it and then did a low spin kick towards Ashey's legs and finally finishing it with a mag-beam towards her.

Ashey let go of Infurno`s tail before he could yank her, but his kick reached the tagret, and she was sent down on the ground again. The magbeam hit straight on, and she stayed down, breathing heavily.

"That does it, I'm taking control"
Ami huffed and did a few flips foward and then jumped onto Ashey's saddle. She yanked the controls hard to make Ashey get up and charged Infurno.
"Take this!"


Infurno turned around to see this growled, this complicated things abit He swayed his tail forward, ready for what was gonna happen next.

Ashey growled as she ran at Infurno. She let Ami try to use whatever style of attack she wanted. Her head still throbbed from a rather violent jerk from the controls. She just hoped that Infurno could put up a more impressive show, a one that would make Ami believe she was going for an inferior dragon.

Infurno jumped into the air to try avoid Ashey and when he landed he managed to slam his foot on her tail and stop her run forward to give both her and Ami a good whiplash.


He then fired a mag-blast at Ami's head causing her to slam her face in the controls, just for fun.

Ouch...

Ashey growled and turned to face Infurno. Her tail was searing in pain, and she gently moved it from side to side, to check if it was ok. It seemed ok. She glanced up at Ami, awaiting commands. It was hard, however, not to chuckle when she saw the position Ami was in.

Good. Just keep it up...

Infurno roared, it was time to finish this. He began to run around Ashey and Ami, using a little of his super speed, but not too much too make Ami suspicious as he went faster and faster. Enough to make anyone dizzy and with Ashey not reacting helped it until both of them were dizzy.

Now for the cherry, Infurno just blew on Ashey and Ami so they both just collapsed. He knew even Ashey might not normally collapse, she would to make this look good. That should make Ami give up her quest.

Quite an unusual tactic, noted Ra.

Hope it works, nodded Ashey to herself, as she stubmbled away, disorriented. Her eyes closed and she collapsed on the ground, hitting it rather hard. She appeared to have been unconscious, but really, all of it was just an illusion. She would have been back to her full self the moment Ami left. If she did leave, that is.

"Get up you stupid Dragon!"
She whacked Ashey on the head.
"You were defeated by this ordinary Red Dragon, your not special at all. I can't believe the Shaddows of Drakkus thought of you as their ultimate weapon to defeat The Enhancers, your nothing. Your pathetic, your not special at all. I can't believe I put all this effort to try get another useless worthless Dragon. I am so much better than that."
She sighed, feeling she had wasted so much.
She then hopped of Ashey.



"Well ain't this interesting..."
Tristan said as he stood next to Aster. The ride had finally finished and they had come back, just at the right time.

Rowg shuddered, remembering the nasty incident. She hurried over to a stall, eyeing the crowd nervously and asked the vender for some fruit. She was jumpy, jumpier than she'd ever been.

Rowg had never like crowds in the first place- she was a loner by nature. And after that nasty experience with the crowd in the marketplace, she REALLY hated crowds. She got her purchase and then retreated to a corner where she could watch the crowd, but was still partially hidden in shadows. It blended well with her dark grey suit and made her feel safe as she warily munched her fruit.

((Oooh, this could be a new phobia for Rowg! Like, an incapacitating phobia! Terror of crowds, kinda like clausterphobia! I am such a genius. ))

"What...have you DONE?!"

Aster stood by, speechless, her eyes moving from Ami to an unconcsious, battered Ashey, back to Ami. Her eyes narrowed, as she quickly came to a conclusion, burying through Ami with intense hatred. It was one thing to try and insult her and her dragon, and quite another to do what she just did...

Aster moved in a step towards Ami and said with a very, very clear threat,
"GET...OUT! NOW!"

She growled, trying her best not to flat out attack her. She was just a scale away from doing just that.

"Fine, you can have that Dragon. It's useless anyway."
Ami huffed and walked away, still with her chin up. What a uesless endeavour for her.


Tristan just shook his head.

Infurno smirked, it seemed to have worked.

Aster glared at Ami, then quickly rushed to Ashey.

"Ashey?..." she asked, tryingly. She felt tears coming up, already feeling like something was terribly wrong with Ashey and she was too late.

She`s gone. For now. Let`s hope we won`t see her again in a long, loong time, said Ra, as he brought the systems online.

Ashey felt better, blinking a few times, as her vision returned to normal.

Whoow..didn`t think I relied on it so much.

She saw Aster and gave a short, soft growl, to tell her she was ok. She got up to her feet and shook herself, stretching to get the feeling back in her muscles.

"Ashey!" shouted Aster, extremly glad she was ok, this time actually crying. She circled Ashey`s neck with her arms and gave her a long hug.

Ashey smiled and rested her head against Aster`s shoulder, glad to have her back to.

After a while, Aster pulled away and looked at her dragon.

"It was your plan all along, wasn`t it? To get her out of our scales?"

Ashey nodded and smiled.

"Great job. I hope she doesn`t return in a thousand years or more. Still...it was terrible not knowing what happened. You are the only thing I have in an entire world...and I just don`t know what would I do without you."

Ashey nudged Aster, feeling the same way. Aster smiled and petted her, then looked at Tristan.

"Well, I think I am ready to call it a day. What do you say?"

Her plan?! Infurno huffed and he fired a small fireball at the backside of Aster. He then walked past in a huff whacking Aster with his tail, of all the nerve.


Tristan smirked.
"Come on red, lets go home."
Tristan climbed on Infurno and gripped on the controls.
"I think we may have both had enough wild rides."

"Hey!" said Aster to Infurno, puzzled, rubbing her head where his tail hit. "What did I do?..." she looked over at Tristan, and shrugged her shoulders.

She climbed into Ashey`s saddle, and smiled at her dragon.
"Ready, girl?" she said softly.

Ashey gave a happy roar and basically launched out of the park with all speed she had. It felt good to be back, and have Aster as her rider.

Aster laughed, fixing her helmet. "Aren`t we suposed to be following Tristan and his dragon?"

Ashey shook her head and put in more speed, her paws touching down on the surface of the road as fast as if she was in a race, as they headed back to he compound.

The two reached back to the temple.

"Honey, were home!" Tristan called out as Infurno rolled his eyes.
"Hmmm....where is everyone. I thought Rowg was gonna stay here..."

Deep within the Enhancer's complex in a dark room, a small figure sat in a revolving chair.
"Impressive resume, they may be of use to us...."

Ashey came to a halt near the temple and Aster jumped down from the saddle, walking along with her dragon.

"Maybe the priests gave her a mission, or something...though it is unlikely that they`l give her a hard mission she singlehandedly couldn`t handle, so she is probably out bying groceries or picking them up a batch of donuts."

Aster grinned. Her last comment was said with a hint of sarcasm, directed towards priest`s tendency to stay in the temple and send out Boosters from the most dangerous to the most trivial missions.

Ashey rolled her eyes and snorted.

Tristan went straight inside, jumped on a couch and began playing vid games, he sat there already very into his game.

Infurno rolled his eyes, what a day out. He walked back to their room and lied there, he wasn't sleeping. Just laying down and maybe resting his eyes.

Tristan was beeping and tapping the buttons hard as he yelled out when he lost some life points.
"Come on"
He began maneuvering the game as he played it.

Aster watched Tristan for a little while, speechless, then turned to Ashey. She suddenly realised she still had her helmet on, so she took it off and set it on the nearby table.

"Come on, Ashey, let`s get you something to eat. And don`t tell me, you aren`t hungry," said Aster with a soft smile.

Ashey shook her head and smiled, following Aster. She herself forgot to get a bite to eat, with all that happened. Which make her wonder, how Aster knew exactly what she needed, before she even knew she needed it.

Aster pressed the button on the feeder and waited for it to fill with dragon food. She then did the same for water and stepped aside to let Ashey have at it.

Ashey walked up and started to eat, moving her tail slightly from side to side.

Aster`s eyes grew sad for a moment, as she thought that today could have been a day when she lost Ashey. She shook off that thought and smiled at Ashey.

"Same old stuff, huh? Do you actually like it?" she asked, jokingly.

Ashey stopped eating and looked at Aster. She nodded, smiling, and gently nudged her rider, then returned to her food.

Aster leaned against the wall and watched the compound around her, thinking.

The day began to stretch on as it was reaching its end and ther dusk was coming and darkness would soon fall.


The day had come to an end, the Boosters tried to have a fun day at the park. However it became a battle for the Dragons to escape Ami, an old member of the Shadows Drakkus, Aster's old crew. Using some quick thinking they outwitted her and managed to have a fun day anyway. However what is Micro planning, what new plan has he got under works and perhaps worse, who....
